Giving In Isn’t the End of the World February 19, 2006

You know what? I let things slide on the weekends. I do. On Friday nights, we go to our local Mexican restaurant, and sometimes on Saturdays, I meet a friend for brunch at Panera for a bagel with cream cheese and a latte. On Saturday nights, I usually eat out somewhere that’s not quite light. Sundays I start getting back on track.

But I do that, and I’m satisfied during the week. I don’t moan and whine when someone brings in French fries from some fast food place for lunch. I don’t feel these horrible cravings for fattening foods because I know I’m going to have my chance to indulge but not go completely overboard. I think it works for me.
