More Frustration February 8, 2006

I shouldn’t have weighed today, but I did because I’ve been so good. Nothing. It’s still saying that my total pounds lost is 9 instead of the 11 from almost two weeks ago.
I feel like throwing the scales out the window. I know, I probably shouldn’t weight at all, but different “experts” say different things (isn’t that always the case?). Some say you should weigh everyday. Some say once a week. Some say never; just let your clothes be the judge. While some outfits do fit better, it’s not as much as I’d like.
All I think is that I’ve hit a slow spot, but I thought that would come later — like maybe after the first 20 or 30 pounds, not the first 10!
It’s just so freakin’ frustrating.
I know how you feel. I have been stuck at 10 for two weeks now. I htink I need to drink more water….
Well, and prob. eat less too. Hee!
I’ve been doing pretty good on the eating, and I’ve exercised five days this week. I suppose that’s what makes it so frustrating.
My wife who has been dieting forever fully understands what your saying. But I’m afraid she doesn’t offer much hope. Neither do the members of her TOPS club. They have been trying to lose weight for years. My wife says I should offer you encouragement . Okay I used to be 360 pounds and now I am 170. I hope that encourages you but of course I spent two months in a comma while losing that wait. But it is gone.
Um, well, I’d rather not be in a coma to lose the weight. I’m still hanging in there, still exercising and all. A friend of mine has lost 80 pounds in a year, and whenever I think it’s not possible, I see her and know that it is. However, she’s been stuck for a month, so I know there are obstacles all along the way. I just have to continue to develop my patience!
Good luck on your weight loss goal.

Hey John,
I know how you feel, I have been on my current weightloss program for 4 months and at one point I thought the scale was stuck at a certain weight and it was teasing me by staying at the same weight. Hang in there and the weight will come off. Good luck at reaching your goal.
