My First Diet October 16, 2005

Doesn’t that sound like something someone would try to market to young girls today? Couldn’t you just see that on Saturday morning TV while the little ones are watching their beloved cartoons? How pathetic that would be!
Anyway, I think I went on my first diet in the fourth grade. Since the first grade, I had always been close to ten pounds overweight, which I suppose is significant for a young child.
The diet was one of those four days on, three days off things where you eat specific foods for four days — peanut butter, boiled eggs, baked chicken among select others — and then you could eat anything you wanted for three days. I don’t remember why the diet failed. My mother was following the plan as well, perhaps she decided it was time to stop.
there are evil people in hollywood who WOULD market a “my first diet” toy. jerks!
I’m sure it could happen anywhere, including Hollywood. If there’s money to be made, someone somwhere will find a way.
Hey, I just started another diet myself and I started a blog to journal my experiences. If you have a chance take a look.
Good luck on your diet.
That kind of diet does not sound healthy though…
It seems that you gave up blogging, siince you have not posted anything new.Does that mean the diet went south too? I am looking for a diet buddy.
I was a junkie, and now that I am clean,I am a sugar junkie and have gain 100 lbs in the last 18 months. The first 30-40 I can handle,I was an emancipated scrarecrow when my breakfast dinner and supper used to be whack of down juice and a banana everyday.Anybody up to a little one on one weight loss challenge?I am easly motivated if I have a goal that someone can see as well.
Heh. Well, the diet never really started.
I haven’t really given up this blog, but it’s just that I have a regular one, and that one is more about my writing, which I try to keep updated every day. So this one kind of falls to the side.
